Tuesday, February 24, 2015 FMIPA UI received a visit from FMIPA Mathla’ulanwar (UNMA) Banten. The event which took place from 08.00 to 10.00 WIB was attended by 85 students, the Dean and several teaching staff of FMIPA UNMA. The visit was opened by a speech from the Dean of FMIPA UI, Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to all participants of the visit, and gave motivation to FMIPA UNMA students to be able to continue to a higher level of education at FMIPA UI. While the Dean of FMIPA UNMA, Mu’jijah, S.Si., M.Sc. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the Head of FMIPA UI for being well received at FMIPA UI, and conveyed the intent and purpose of the visit, namely to motivate and increase the knowledge of FMIPA UNMA, Banten students in the field of science.
Also attending the event were several leaders of FMIPA UI, including Dr. Dian Lestari as Education Manager, Dr. Ratna Yuniati as UPMA Manager, Dr. Supriyanto A. P. as General Manager, Dr. Andi Salamah as Head of Biology Undergraduate Study Program, and Dr. Budiawan as Head of Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program, to discuss in a question and answer session with FMIPA UNMA students.
The event was closed with the presentation of souvenirs represented by Dr. Dian Lestari (Education Manager of FMIPA UI) and Mu’jijah, S.Si., M.Sc. (Dean of FMIPA UNMA), then a group photo and a visit to several laboratories in the Department of Biology guided by Dr. Andi Salamah, and several chemistry laboratories guided by Dr. Budiawan and Dr. Endang Saepudin as the Head of the Department of Chemistry FMIPA UI. During the visit, the leaders and students of FMIPA UNMA were welcomed by the Head of the Department of Biology and the Department of Chemistry along with the Head of the Laboratory.
