Socialization of DRPM UI Policy in Receiving Research and Community Service Grants

March 15, 2015

The Lunch Talk event (11/03/15) which is a routine activity agenda of the Research and Community Service Unit (RPM) FMIPA UI this week is quite special. In this Lunch Talk event, it introduced Dr. Djoko Triyono as the new RPM FMIPA UI manager replacing Dr. Dede Djuhana who currently serves as Head of Sub-Directorate of Research Planning and Development at PAU UI. In addition, this week's Lunch Talk is also in order to socialize the policy of DRPM UI regarding Acceptance of UI Grant Proposals 2015 and commitments related to the acceptance of the grant.

It was recorded that 14 Lecturers proposed Proposals for the 2015 UI Initial Research Grant, 11 proposals for the 2015 UI Multidisciplinary Research Grant, 3 proposals for the 2015 UI Cluster Research Grant, 17 proposals for the 2015 UI Postgraduate Research Grant, the 2015 UI International Collaborative Research Grant Proposal was proposed by Dr. Wellyzar Sjamsuridzal, 6 proposals for the 2015 National Collaborative Research Grant, 2 proposals for the 2015 UI Laboratory Safety Standards Development Grant, 2 proposals for the 2015 UI Faculty-Level Research Center Capacity Grant, 6 proposals for the 2015 UI Laboratory Infrastructure Grant, the 2015 UI Area-Based Grant Proposal was proposed by Dr. Mufti Petala Patria, the 2015 UI Community Service Collaboration Grant was proposed by Dr. Anom Bowo Laksono, and 4 proposals for the Establishment of the UI Research Cluster 2015, the total number of proposals for Research Grants and Community Service from all Research Lecturers of FMIPA UI is 68 Proposals.

In the discussion presented by the Manager of RPM FMIPA UI regarding Information Regarding UI Grant Receipt 2015, he stated that the target achievement for 2015 for the number of research proposals received by DRPM UI is at least 86 proposals (in 2014, there were 79 research proposals recorded). Meanwhile, the target achievement for the number of FMIPA UI research proposals funded by DRPM UI in 2015 is expected that all submitted proposals are eligible to receive grant funds from DRPM UI (in 2014, there were 68 FMIPA UI proposals that were successfully funded by DRPM UI). The target achievement for the number of publications indexed in Scopus for FMIPA UI in 2015 is expected to reach at least 120 publications or even 200 publications (in 2014, there were 64 FMIPA UI publications indexed in Scopus). The target for the number of publications by researchers receiving grants in 2015 is expected to reach 115 publications (in 2014, there were 42 publications by FMIPA UI researchers who received grants from DRPM UI).

The target of funding and publication achievement from Research and Community Service Grants for Research Lecturers at FMIPA UI requires hard work from the Lecturers as well as cooperation and synergy between the Lecturers both in the Department and Study Centers and Research Centers owned by FMIPA UI. It is expected that with the increase in the target achievement in the field of Research and Community Service of FMIPA UI, in addition to increasing the credibility of the lecturers, it will also increase the accreditation value achieved by FMIPA UI at BAN PT. Thus, one of FMIPA UI's missions is also achieved to support the Renstra of the University of Indonesia as one of the World Class Universities.
