Universitas Indonesia via DSTI UI has subscribed to the Microsoft Office 365 application for use by UI academicians (students, educators, and education staff). This Office 365 application is in the form of a package, consisting of many productivity applications (a complete list is available at www.office.com/apps). The usage mode is available in two options, namely the online version and the offline version (standalone). Please go to the link office365.ui.ac.id to access this Office 365 application using your SSO UI account. If there are any problems during installation, please contact DSTI UI (info is available at dsti.ui.ac.id).
Since 2013, the Department of Geography, FMIPA UI has collaborated with PT. ESRI Indonesia, which is a representation of ESRI Inc., a licensed software provider for spatial data processing known as ArcGIS. In 2020, the collaboration was upgraded from departmental to institutional at the university level with a Memorandum of Understanding Number 049/ESRI-EDU/MoU/2020 and 75/NKB/R/UI/2020. So that every academic community of the University of Indonesia can get the same opportunity to get various programs and services provided by PT. ESRI Indonesia, including getting licensed software from ESRI.

Universitas Indonesia via DPASDP UI has subscribed to the SPSS and Matlab applications in the form of a perpetual license (valid forever and without the need for subscription renewal). This application uses a network-concurrent-usage scheme, namely the application can be used as long as it is connected to the UI campus network and the total number of users at one time has not exceeded its quota. The quotas provided are:

Terms of Use:
- The application may only be used within the University of Indonesia environment and for teaching purposes only. Use for research purposes is not permitted.
- The application uses an authentication system to the server. The user's computer must be connected to the UI network while using the Application. Authenticated SPSS is marked with the words "SPSS Processor Available" which appear at the bottom of the application.
- Use the application as needed. As long as the application is open, the right to use it still belongs to you. Immediately close SPSS when you have finished using it to give others the opportunity to use it.
- If the text “SPSS Processor Available” does not appear, it means authentication failed. This could be caused by incorrect network settings, or the quota has exceeded the maximum for users at one time. Users can check their network settings. If the network is okay, it means the quota is running out. Users can try again later.
