Thursday, February 5, 2015, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA-UI) held the Inauguration and Thanksgiving of Graduates of the 2014/2015 PTA Semester in the Lecture Building, Room 101. The Inauguration and Thanksgiving procession was officially opened by the Dean of FMIPA UI, Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris. The Head of the Committee, Dr. Tito Latif Indra, in his speech said that a total of 259 students graduated and were inaugurated in the 2014/2015 PTA semester. consisting of:
1. 30 graduates of the Regular Undergraduate Mathematics Study Program
2. 3 graduates of the Mathematics Masters Study Program
3. 32 graduates of Regular Bachelor of Physics
4. 7 graduates of the Parallel Physics Undergraduate Study Program
5. 23 graduates of the Physics Masters Study Program
6. 4 graduates of the Master of Materials Science Study Program
7. 9 graduates of the Doctoral Program in Materials Science
8. 31 graduates of the Regular Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program
9. 21 graduates of the Parallel Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program
10. 10 graduates of the Chemistry Masters Study Program
11. 1 person graduated from the Chemistry Doctoral Study Program
12. 21 graduates of the Regular Undergraduate Biology Study Program
13. 5 graduates of the Master of Biology Study Program
14. 2 graduates of the Biology Doctoral Study Program
15. 18 graduates of the Marine Masters Study Program
16. 32 graduates of the Regular Undergraduate Geography Study Program
17. 10 Masters Programs in Geography
Ms. Jayanti M.Sc from the Department of Physics in her speech representing the graduates expressed her gratitude to the lecturers, professors, and academic staff for their services in educating and guiding them so that they could obtain a master of science degree with good predicate. Dra. Etty Purnamawati, M.Sc, as the Chairperson of the ILUNI FMIPA UI also gave a speech to all graduates. The Chairperson of the FMIPA UI Board of Professors, Prof. Dr. Usman Sumo Friend Tambunan, M.Sc. in his speech reminded the graduates to continue to work and contribute in various aspects and to maintain the name of the FMIPA UI alma mater well. Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris as the Dean of FMIPA UI, in his speech reminded the graduates that they had been equipped with many lessons during their education at FMIPA UI and from now on they must continue to give their best for all of us.
On the occasion of the 2014/2015 PTA Semester Graduation Ceremony, the leadership of FMIPA UI gave awards to the 17 best graduates, namely:
The Inauguration and Thanksgiving Procession of the 2014/2015 PTA Semester Graduates was closed by singing the song Padamu Negeri which is the promise of the Graduates to serve and contribute to the progress of the nation and state. Hopefully the Graduates can continue to work and be useful for the progress of the nation and state both at the National, Regional and International levels.
