Friday (3/4/2020), FMIPA UI announced the winners of the Main Outstanding Student (Mapres) and Mapres categories of FMIPA UI 2020.
The announcement was made online by the FMIPA UI student unit. Muhammad Attorik Falensky (Geography 2017) successfully emerged as the first winner, followed by Brenda Mutiara Samiadji (Mathematics 2017) as the second winner, while the third winner was won by Alvin Subakti (Mathematics 2017).
In addition to announcing the Main Mapres, Assistant Manager of Student Affairs FMIPA UI, Dr. Retno Lestari, also announced the Category Mapres. There are four categories competed in this most prestigious competition at the faculty level.
Willy Candra Junior (Geography 2018) excelled in the Arts and Culture category. The Sports category was won by Jessye Maria-Deanne Awuy (Biology 2017). The Entrepreneurship category was won by Dip Rizki Saleh (Geography 2018), and the Social Environment category was won by Muhammad Khairul Rosyidy (Geography 2017).
The series of activities for the 2020 FMIPA UI Outstanding Student Selection (Mapres) were started and officially opened by Dr. Techn Djoko Triyono as the Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs on Tuesday (03/17/2020) at the FMIPA UI Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building, UI Depok Campus.
Carrying the theme of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Industrial Revolution 4.0. The 2020 FMIPA UI Outstanding Student Selection was attended by eight Main Outstanding Student finalists and twenty-three Category Outstanding Student finalists.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic overshadows the implementation of the 2020 FMIPA UI Mapres Election, FMIPA UI continues to pay attention to and implement the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Prevention Precautions Protocol that applies at the University of Indonesia, one of which is physical distancing.
The stages of the 2020 FMIPA UI Outstanding Student Selection consist of presentations and discussions in English, and Scientific Paper Presentations (KTI) for the Main Outstanding Student finalists, as well as an interview session for the Outstanding Student Category finalists.
