Bella Hena, FMIPA UI Student Heads to Puteri Indonesia Pageant to Represent Banten

Bella Hena, a 6th semester student in the undergraduate geography program at FMIPA UI is fighting for the opportunity to enter the most prestigious beauty pageant in the country, namely Putri Indonesia 2022, as a representative from Banten Province.

In the event, the girl whose full name is Bella Hena Samira competed with Chrissy Fransisca Olivyana Rugian, who is an alumna of the 2014 FMIPA UI chemistry undergraduate study program.

Not only their facial beauty, Bella and Chrissy have shown their insight and abilities as winners in the Nong Kota Tangsel selection event.

Chrissy Fransisca as Deputy 1 Miss Tangsel 2015 and Bella Hena is Miss Tangsel 2017.

Both of them are the hope of Banten residents to win the beauty contest organized by the Puteri Indonesia Foundation and Mustika Ratu.

"After a series of auditions, on January 14th the assessment results came out that the top three would advance to the next stage," said Bella as quoted from the TangerangNews.com page.

In these top three, the assessment will be carried out using a voting method, coupled with an assessment from a panel of judges.

Currently, Bella admits that she is preparing her knowledge and skills for the next stage. So that later, she can also make Banten's name famous in the national arena.

This 170 cm tall woman is optimistic that she can provide the best results for the City of South Tangerang.

Bella is a non-academic outstanding student at Al Azhar BSD High School in 2019. Furthermore, she also became the main outstanding student at the Geography Department, FMIPA UI in 2021.

The Co-Founder of Teman Impian was also the Indonesian Representative at the ASEAN Future Leaders SDG Workshop 2021. Not only that, he and his team “Hero of Sustainability” also won an international award as the 2nd Place People’s Choice Category at the Esri User Conference Map Gallery 2021.
