Wednesday, (19/7/2017) at Building B 101, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia, held a talk show with Raditya Dika. No less than 300 FMIPA UI students attended the event entitled Creativepreneur for Scientist This talk show is part of the UI Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Alumni Homecoming Day series. The main event will be held at the UI Faculty Club on July 22, 2017.
On this occasion, Dika explained what creativity is and enterpreneur. According to Dika, creativity is creating value and something that no one else has ever created. While enterpreneur are people who make efforts. And a enterpreneur are required to continue to be creative. "We are currently in an era of creating value"If you want to be successful and earn income, you have to create value," he said.
"When we can create value in what we make, then we sell that value, and creativity is not always about selling," Dika added.
The author of the book "Kambing Jantan" (The Male Goat) admitted that his creativity stems from his own anxiety. "Creativity seeks out anxiety and then expresses it," he concluded. According to him, the more anxious a person is, the more they understand themselves. "People must be sensitive to their own anxiety so they can express it in writing, for example," Dika said.
Dika said that students should be more motivated to become a creativepreneur. Not only focused on studying and becoming an employee after graduation. Even for scientists, there are many opportunities to become a enterpreneur.
The writer, comedian, director, and actor revealed that analytical and data-gathering skills are crucial before starting a business. He did this before creating his works, which have garnered widespread attention in Indonesia.
"Don't be afraid to start new things, be the most different and have more value, the greater our value, the more valuable we are in the eyes of others," he said.
In his creative experience, Dika often faces problems. However, for him, problems are opportunities to improve himself. problem solver. “Disinilah Problem Solving Skill We are needed.” Dika acknowledged that consistency and lots of trying are the keys to ensuring a business's existence remains sustainable.
