After disseminating visual publication media as initial information about the implementation of the Dean Candidate Selection through the official FMIPA UI channels during the period 20-24 September 2021, the FMIPA UI Dean Candidate Selection Committee (PSCD) held a series of subsequent activities, namely the socialization of the dean candidate selection activities.
The socialization activity was carried out online on Friday afternoon, September 24, 2021, by inviting external and internal public. This was done because the selection of prospective candidates was open to the public, and was not limited to the FMIPA UI academic community.
Also present at the event were Dr. Agustin Kusumayati, M.Sc., Ph.D., Secretary of the University of Indonesia and a member of the PSCD representing university elements.
Dr. Endang Saepudin, as the head of PSCD FMIPA UI, in his speech, invited stakeholders in FMIPA UI to actively participate in the activities that will last until December 2021. He hopes that the elected dean will be able to bring FMIPA UI to realize its vision and mission.
"We invite all stakeholders in FMIPA UI to actively participate in the selection process for the new dean candidate for FMIPA UI. The selection process is expected to produce a dean who has high integrity, places public interest above personal or group interests with credibility and competence that can bring FMIPA UI to the world stage," said Dr. Endang.
