{"id":8043,"date":"2019-11-07T04:32:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-07T04:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geografi.ui.ac.id\/?p=8043"},"modified":"2026-01-14T04:33:32","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T04:33:32","slug":"fmipa-ui-jadi-koordinator-nasional-proyek-iaea-pengembangan-fisika-medis-di-rumah-sakit-ui","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geografi.ui.ac.id\/en\/fmipa-ui-jadi-koordinator-nasional-proyek-iaea-pengembangan-fisika-medis-di-rumah-sakit-ui\/","title":{"rendered":"FMIPA UI Becomes National Coordinator for IAEA Medical Physics Development Project at UI Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The use of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation devices in diagnostic radiology has reached more than 7000 units throughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The utilization of ionizing radiation requires high accuracy and quality to ensure radiation safety for patients, radiation workers, and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve quality and safety goals, it is necessary to strengthen Medical Physicists in the field of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, especially in University Hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is because the University Hospital is an educational facility that can become a training center for the medical physics profession in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, Dr. Supriyanto Pawiro, a lecturer at the Department of Physics, FMIPA UI and also the chairman of the Alliance of Indonesian Medical Physicists (AFISMI), submitted a proposal for the development of medical physicists at RSUI to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal, which had been delayed, finally received funding, which will be released in 2020, amounting to 100,000 Euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its implementation, it will involve several university hospitals throughout Indonesia, both government and private.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pemakaian perangkat radiasi pengion dan non pengion di radiologi diagnostik mencapai lebih dari 7000 unit di seluruh Indonesia.
