Prof. Dr. Ivandini Tribidasari Anggraningrum, a professor of chemistry at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia, received the Habibie Award Period XXI in 2019 from the Science and Technology Human Resources Foundation (SDM IPTEK), The Habibie Center at the Le Merdien Hotel, Jalan Sudirman, South Jakarta on Tuesday (11\/13\/2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chairman of the IPTEK Human Resources Foundation, Prof. Dr-ing. Wardiman Djojonegoro, assessed that Prof. Ivandini was active and instrumental in discovering, developing, and disseminating new knowledge, as well as contributing to improving the welfare and well-being of the nation through the knowledge and expertise she possessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Ivandini's latest research activities and findings are about the development of diamond synthesis technology in its application in the field of electrochemistry as sensors and biosensors for the detection of various chemical and biochemical compounds that are useful in monitoring<\/em> health, monitoring<\/em> industrial processes online<\/em> dan terus menerus, serta monitoring<\/em> environmental quality, which is expected to have the potential to improve the quality of health and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through this research, he studied the development of the behavior and utilization of a very special material, namely electrically conductive diamonds or often known as boron-doped diamond (BDD)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He has consistently pursued this topic since 2000, when he was a doctoral candidate at The University of Tokyo, Japan, and continues to this day with various developments<\/p>\n\n\n\n The chemist revealed that he had produced several international patents, and several research results had been registered to obtain Scientific Property Rights (IPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, as a researcher and lecturer, in addition to developing BDD applications, he also studied fundamental theories, resulting in around 85 reputable international publications and proceedings, as well as several publications in national journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The international publications he has successfully obtained have placed him as a researcher with a Scopus h-index of 23, which is currently one of the highest h-indexes at the University of Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For his achievements, thoughts, and contributions, the professor and manager of research and community service at FMIPA UI received a prize of USD 25,000, a certificate, and the Habibie Award gold medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Habibie Award is the main program of the IPTEK Human Resources Foundation which has been held since 1999. Habibie Award recipients are selected through a selection process by the Habibie Award committee and as of last year there were 61 recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also present at the 2019 Habibie Award was the Minister of Research and Technology, Prof. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro.
