On Friday (13/04/2018), at the Wunga Meeting Room of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) in Jakarta, Universitas Indonesia and the Geology Agency of the Ministry of ESDM signed a memorandum of understanding for the next five years. The signing was carried out by Ir. Rudy Suhendar, M.Sc., Head of the Geology Agency, Ministry of ESDM, and Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris, Dean of FMIPA UI, representing UI on behalf of the Rector, who was unable to attend.
This collaboration is focused on research with the aim of enhancing the development of human resources, technology, studies, investigations, and research in the field of geology.
The event was also attended by Dr. Tito Latif Indra, FMIPA UI Cooperation Manager; Dr. Eng. Supriyanto, M.Sc., Head of the Geosciences Study Program at FMIPA UI; Dr. Drs. Antonius Ratdomopurbo, Secretary of the Geology Agency, Ministry of ESDM; Ir. Kasbani, M.Sc., Head of the Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation, Ministry of ESDM; Dr. Ir. Eko Budi Lelono, Head of the Geological Survey Center, Ministry of ESDM; and Dedi Budiman, S.H., Head of the Administration Division, Ministry of ESDM.
