Monday (31/7/2017) Located at BMKG, Dean of FMIPA UI, Dr.rer.nat. Abdul Haris held a meeting with the Head of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, Dr. Andi Eka Sakya, both of them discussed the progress of instrumentation equipment that has been developed by BMKG, namely the Weather Information System (West Pacific Warning System), which is supported by 193 BMKG Stations and 5 Centers spread across the Indonesian Region, so that collaboration with the University of Indonesia is needed to develop instrumentation, tool engineering, which is in line with the ideals of the formation of Earth Institute di FMIPA UI.
