utri Maharani Ardiasih, a student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI), Bachelor of Actuarial Science Study Program, class of 2020, won 1st place in the Data Processing Competition Management Administration Great Innovation Competition (MAGIC) UNS 2022 organized by HIMAMA SV Sebelas Maret University.

In this competition, Putri chose the office administration competition branch in the data processing category with the themeTraining Office Automation on Gen-Z in the Era of Society 5.0”.”.
In the data processing category, participants were challenged to analyze and process the data presented in the questions as precisely and effectively as possible by applying formulas in Microsoft Excel. The data was then presented in engaging and easy-to-understand visuals. Putri and the other participants were given two hours to complete the questions.
Despite the lack of a mentor, Putri didn't find it difficult to succeed. She explained that her interest in learning various formulas in Microsoft Excel began in junior high school. She believes this was the key to her success in winning the title.
“Since junior high school I have been studying Excel formulas, so when I took part in this competition No No "It's too difficult," said Putri to the UI FMIPA Public Relations team.
Dengan begitu, ia mengaku tidak merasa bingung saat menentukan formulasi yang efektif dalam melakukan manajemen data hingga penyajiannya.
In this way, he admitted that he did not feel confused when determining an effective formulation for managing data and presenting it.
"I think what probably set me apart from the other participants was choosing the most appropriate and effective Excel formulas. Furthermore, I presented the data visualization in the form of charts neatly and attractively," he added.
"I also analyzed the data by choosing sentences that were easy to understand and not being long-winded in answering questions based on the data provided," said Putri.
Putri further explained that remaining calm while processing data is equally important. This helps avoid distractions that can lead to a loss of concentration. Concentration and clarity of thought are essential for optimal results.
MAGIC (Management Administration Great Innovation Competition) is a student creativity week activity organized by the Student Association of the D3 Vocational School Administration Management Study Program, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta.
The series of activities held consisted of an Entrepreneurship Seminar, Office Administration Seminar, Human Resource Management Semina Business Plan Competition Culinary and Business Plan Competition DigitalOffice Administration Competition, Essay Competition, and Public Speaking Competition.
Tahun ini MAGIC mengusung tema “Be a Critical Generation, Think Creatively and Innovatively".This theme was chosen with the hope that participants will be able to become a young generation who thinks critically, is innovative and has the awareness to hone their creativity, so that it can be useful for themselves, others and the environment, and become a young generation who will continue the nation and be strong in facing challenges in the global era.
