After competing with more than 11,000 participants, Alexander was finally selected as one of the 10 best participants who were entitled to a short lecture session (short course) at Stanford University, San Francisco, United States. He also earned a certificate of expertise that can be used as a Diploma Supplement (SKPI).

“Saya berusaha mengombinasikan ilmu biologi yang saya dapatkan di kuliah untuk meningkatkan market value Telkomsel, which is a telecommunications company," he said.

He felt numerous benefits after participating in the IndonesiaNEXT training. "I feel like a different person after participating in this activity. I speak more structured, think more critically, get used to asking questions, am more open, and so on," he explained. He hopes more UI students can experience what he did at IndonesiaNEXT.

Alexander has previously gone through several selections and training which includes 4 areas of interest, namely Design Communication,Visual Communication, Powerful presentation, and Management Presentation. Initial stage participants were recruited from 6 cities (Jakarta, Bandung, Yogya, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar) in Indonesia.

Top 5 from each city were then gathered to attend the National Bootcamp on January 11-19 2017.
